It is designed to be used as a Pre-Event Carbohydrate Loader for endurance athletes, that are carbo-loading for endurance sport and sporting events. It yields six times as much energy as the same volume of Isotonic glucose. It is now established practice for sports people to ingest high levels of carbohydrates for three days before competition to help boost muscle glycogen saturation. Leppin Carbo Loader is widely used by endurance sport athletes as a pre-event carbohydrate loader. Rather than the usual pasta binge the week before a race, use Carbo Loader for 3-4 days leading up to the event. Carbohydrate loading with Leppin Carbo Loader can achieve super saturation of glycogen stores in both muscles and liver, thus extending endurance performance and energy levels without the discomfort of eating large amounts of bulky foods.

Carbohydrate Requirement:

The optimum carbohydrate requirement for loading is 500g-600g per day for 3 days. The maximum reasonable absorption out of a daily diet is 300g per day. Therefore at least 200g of carbs should be boost loaded with Leppin Carbo Loader to achieve maximum glycogen stores.

Recommended Use:

Dissolve 200g of powder in up to 2 litres of water or skim milk.

For Carbohydrate Boost Loading:

1-1.5 litres daily for at least 3 days before the event. Drink small amounts (i.e. 200mls) at regular intervals throughout the day.
