Shipping To USA
Due to recent issues with US customs stopping many of our orders sent to USA all shipments of sports supplements and food supplements including Energy Gels, Em’s Power Bars and Cookies, all Enervit products, Energy Bars, Protein powders, Protein bars, Capsulated and Tableted products, must be cleared by US customs before shipment by obtaining “PRIOR NOTIFICATION”.
This is NOT required for clothing so excludes Compression gear and training wear.
Due to the costs and time involved we are unable to do this for you. US Customs seems particularly tough on the Enervit range of products so please ensure you are able to obtain Prior Notice. We will hold all orders until you contact us to let us know that prior notice has been obtained. We will then need a copy of the Prior Notice certificate so that can be included in your shipment. If you can email that through to us once we receive it, we will ship your order.
Please Note We Are Unable To Ship Orders Unless You Have Obtained Prior Notice And Email Us The Paperwork.
Why Is Prior Notice Required?
The Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 (the Bioterrorism Act) directs the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as the food regulatory agency of the Department of Health and Human Services, to take additional steps to protect the public from a threatened or actual terrorist attack on the U.S. food supply and other food-related emergencies.
To carry out certain provisions of the Bioterrorism Act, FDA has established new regulations requiring that:
Food facilities are registered with FDA, and
FDA be given advance notice on shipments of imported food.
The Act requires that FDA receive prior notice before food is imported or offered for import into the United States. Advance notice of import shipments allows FDA, with the support of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), to target import inspections more effectively and help protect that nation’s food supply against terrorist acts and other public health emergencies.
Filing of Prior Notice with U.S. FDA is required before food shipments may enter the United States, including small quantities and food samples for consumption. The U.S. FDA will issue a bar-coded Prior Notice Confirmation Number that must accompany most food shipments.
There are several online tools for this including those on the FDA website
FDA Prior Notice Website and there are companies that can do it on your behalf:
Due to the time involved in this process and the costs we are unfortunately unable to obtain this for you.
